Ratae Co-operative Players
The Shoebox Mystery

The Shoebox Mystery is a full-length 3 act office based drama set at the firm’s Christmas party revealing financial and sexual intrigue, jealousy and hatred - all laced with a touch of comedy. This was the first production of this brand new play written by Northamptonshire playwright Arthur Aldridge which won the Leicestershire Playwrights award. The author worked closely with the society’s director Mary Jones during rehearsals to ensure a smooth transition from page to stage.

The production saw the Ratae debuts for three new members: Angela Armstrong, Jess Wood and Shannon Woods.
