The Eric Chappell play ‘THEFT’ was the choice of director Margaret Wood for Ratae’s May 2009 play:-

When John & Barbara Miles return home from an anniversary dinner with friends to find their house has been burgled they are dismayed to find that their prized possessions have been stolen. By the end of the evening however, they discover that it is not just their property that has been ransacked but their entire life. The burglar – Spriggs, whom they initially believe to be a policeman investigating the burglary, uncovers uncomfortable truths about their lives, their loves and their seemingly happy relationships.
